A great collaborative album featuring Kimiko Kasai and Herbie Hancock’s funk band, recorded in 1979 at CBS/Sony studio, Tokyo and originaly released only in Japan. The album showcases a fusion of jazz, soul, funk and disco, including a 6 Hancock compositions and 2 cover songs. It is one of the best Japanese rare groove jazz-funk album with Kasai's expressive vocals and Hancock's masterful piano.
The title track, B3 "Butterfly" is a special vocal version not included on the original from the album "Thrust"! The last track is a cover of Stevie Wonder's B4 "As".
